Talbot Combined School 'Where everyone matters'. Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you have to make. I hope the following pages go some way to giving you a ‘taster’ of what we at Talbot aim to provide for our young people. We set out to provide a stimulating learning environment that gives children opportunities to learn all the basic skills in literacy and numeracy and provides them with a breadth, balance and continuity on which to grow to their full potential. Subjects such as physical education, music and art are all given high priority along with the more traditional academic lessons of the National Curriculum. We aim to equip our children not just for the next steps in their education but also for life beyond school and that means work and play! We do not see school as something that is done to your child but as a true partnership between you the parents, the first and enduring teachers of your children, and our staff. We believe that only through working together can we achieve the very best for your child both now and for the future. Our Web Site and prospectus tell you a great deal about us but there is no substitute for a personal visit.
