My name is Mrs Grandis and I teach the delightful Class in Year 1. Some of my favourite moments with my class are when we read stories together or go on seasonal nature walks. I also absolutely love teaching art, especially anything that involves recycling or being resourceful!
Previously to working at Talbot I lived and taught for five years in The Canary Islands, Spain, where I became fluent in Spanish, one of my lifetime ambitions.
Outside school I enjoy walking with my husband and our rescue dog Mapu, especially wherever there is a sea view. Mapu's name means "Earth" in the Aboriginal Mapuche language of Argentina, where my husband is from.
Keeping myself healthy is important to me so I invest time in exercise, pilates, yoga and vegetarian cooking. I also love to read inspiring books.
