''My Child At School'' App

Dear parents and carers,

 

My Child at School (MCAS)

 

Talbot Primary School will be moving to a new parent online portal from September 2021, this will enable parents access to:

 

  • view attendance,
  • make bookings/payment for clubs and trips,
  • purchase items from the school shop,
  • give consent,
  • view the school calendar for upcoming events and communicate with the school.

 

Parents will also be able to change personal details e.g. address, phone number or email through this portal, this will then enable the school to update their Management Information System with any changes.

 

We will be using MCAS to send ‘push notifications’ to parents and carers, this will replace the need for sending text messages and for this reason we ask all parents to sign up to this.  MCAS will be used for all communication with parents.  An app is available for use on both android and apple devices.

 

All parents will need an email address registered with the school and an invitation code to register.  An information leaflet together the with invitation code will be sent to all parents early next week.

 

Any parents that have used Childcare Vouchers for Talbot Stars Breakfast or Afterschool Club, will need to ensure they have added credit to their account prior to booking their child into the club.   All bookings must be paid for in advance.

 

Scopay (Tucasi) will not be available to parents after 31st July 2021, any balances for Talbot Stars will be moved by the school to MCAS.  Any credits for trips that did not go ahead during lockdown will be credited back to parent’s banks.
