Reception (Sept 2026)

As the official BCP deadline for EYFS Reception 2026 applications has passed, all of our group school tours have ceased. However, if you have a late application for Reception 2026 and would like to view our school, please contact the school office on 01202 513981 or school@talbot.poole.sch.uk and a member of the team would be happy to book you a personal tour.
If you are preparing for your child to start school in September 2027 and would like to visit us for a school tour prior to submitting your application through BCP School Admissions, we will be carrying out specific tours at the following dates / times, please contact the school office to make a booking:
Monday 21st September 2026 at 11am
Tuesday 6th October 2026 at 1.30pm
Wednesday 21st October 2026 at 11am
Wednesday 4th November 2026 at 1.30pm
Thursday 19th November 2026 at 11am
Tuesday 1st December 2026 at 11am
In addition to these tour dates, we will be having a Parents Open Evening on Wednesday 7th October 2026 from 5pm until 6pm, so please feel free to come along; no booking will be required.

Hot School Meals
We are pleased to announce that from September 2026, our school meals will be provided by Kingsleigh Primary School in partnership with Educatering. This means the food will now be prepared at Kingsleigh Primary School and delivered hot to our kitchen ready for lunchtime service.
The new menus will be healthy, nutritious, and appealing for younger children, with a focus on fresh ingredients and a variety of choices. We’re excited to create a more personalised and engaging lunchtime experience for our pupils.
I have attached a Frequently Asked Questions appendix, which will likely address some of your initial queries.
Meals will need to be ordered at least 10 days in advance via the MCAS App. If you do not place your order before the cut-off date, unfortunately, your child will not be able to receive a hot meal for that week and you will need to send them in with a packed lunch from home.
